Lauren Lowery is a Program Manager for Aim For Success. As a speaker she’ll give as many as 440 programs to over 28,000 people in a single school year! Lauren is the lead trainer and supervisor of the Aim For Success speaking staff. 

Lauren is originally from Atlanta. Her speaking style perfectly mixes a deep sincerity and concern for teenagers with a wonderful sense of humor. More so than any other speaker in Aim For Success history, Lauren has an amazing number of teens come to her one-on-one and reveal their own victimization to sexual abuse and assault. She then is able to get them to the help they so desperately need.

Lauren went to Auburn University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She then moved to Dallas where she met and fell in love with her husband, Daniel. She also received a Master of Arts in Cross-Cultural Studies.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys cooking, reading, traveling and anything that has to do with the outdoors. Lauren has spent two years living in the Philippines and one year living in England. She feels that living overseas has helped her understand how to better communicate and interact with people from various backgrounds and walks of life.

 She and Daniel both chose the abstinence lifestyle. She tells their story to her audiences:

“I got married a few years ago, and I saved the gift of my virginity for my husband. The thing that is amazing to me is he saved this great gift for me as well. This was not a decision we made once we were in a romantic relationship. This was actually a decision we both made when we were about your age. Someone came and talked with me, just like I’m talking to you today. They told me not only about the chances you take when you have sex, but they also told me how great and how wonderful it is if you save sex for marriage. So I decided I did not want to have sex until I got married. I can be honest that this was not always an easy choice to keep, but I can tell you now, it is definitely worth the wait. So I encourage you to keep the gift of your virginity special for the person you one day marry.”

Lauren has a passion for young people and loves educating them so they can make good life choices leading to good consequences and good opportunities.
